Fire crews called to sinking boat in the city

Fire crews and police have been dispatched to Hythe Bridge Street to rescue a sinking boat from the river.

Police were called at around 7am to assist with traffic problems caused by the two engines, sent from Rewley Road.

No one is believed to have been injured.

I hope the peopke in the boat get a bill. This type of rescue work should not be paud for by taxpayers.

So you would expect a bill when your house catches fire then. An emergency is an emergency be it on a boat or a house.

Hahaha, what an idiot. I hope they send you a bill aswell then when you house burns down. "all you belongings are gone sir, oh and you owe us £15k for the trouble"
