NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 257

AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14 Footpath No 156/6 (Part)

PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2018 On the 27th June 2018, West Oxfordshire District Council confirmed the above Order. The effect of the Order as confirmed is TO DIVERT the entire width of that part of the publi c footpath No.156/6 (Part) running from OS Gri d Ref SP 3578 1971 (Point A on the Order Plan) in a south-westerly direction for approximately 35 metres to OS Grid Ref SP 3575 1969 (Point B on the Order Plan) then in a north-westerly direction for approximately 12 metres to OS Grid Ref 3575 1969 (Point C on the Order Plan) as shown on the Order Plan by a bold black continuous line between Points A-B-C AND CREATE the alternative footpath running from OS Grid Ref 35781971 (PointAon the Order Plan) and extending in a westerly direction for approximately 24 metres to OS Grid Ref SP 3576 1970 (Point D on the Order Plan) then in a south-westerly direction for approximately 14 metres to OS Grid Ref SP 3575 1969 (Point C on the Order Plan) to re-join the unaffected route of the existing Footpath No. 156/6 as shown on the Order Plan by a bold dashed line between points A-D-C. A copy of the confirmed Order and Order map may be seen free of charge at the FJmfield Offices of West Oxfordshire District Council, Woodgreen, Witney, Oxfordshire, Council from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and online at www.westoxon.gov.uk. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased there, at the price of £1 for the first A4 sheet and 20p per sheet thereafter. This Order comes into force on the date on which the Oxfordshire County Council certify that the terms of Article 2 of the Order have been complied wi th, but if any person aggri eved by the Order desi res to questi on i ts vali di ty or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of the Order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under section 287 of the Town and Country PlanningAct 1990 wi thi n six weeks from the date on whi ch the Notice i s first publi shed as required by paragraph 7 of schedule 14 to that Act.
