YOUNG Lesley Passed away peacefully on 12th May aged 67 years. The much loved wife of Ken and beloved mother of Sarah and Amy. A special lady who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. The funeral will be on Friday 1st June, 1.00 pm at Oxford Crematorium. Flowers or donations if desired to Cancer Research UK c/o S & R Childs Funeral Services, 69 London Road, Headington OX3 9AA

I truly hope that the Young family will see this message. I lived with them for a semester abroad in 1987 and have maintained contact through Lesley up until 2007. I've been trying to find Amy and Sarah via social media. I've searched with no luck in the past....VERY sad to have luck this time and find this article about dear Lesley!

Love to Ken, Sarah and Amy! Breaks my heart to read of Lesley's passing! What a fabulous Mom she was to me in my time away from home for the first time.

so sorry to hear about my dear friend passing, we spent many a day and night together in our youth. We also went to each others wedding just two weeks apart. We went through blackbird leys primary school together and redefield school, we even started our first jobs together straight out of high school at Boot's cornmarket Stree. I will always have very fond memories of our friendship......Lara
