Oxford City Stars were unable to contain leaders Streatham Redskins as they crashed to a 10-3 defeat in South Division 1 of the English National League.
Although trailing only 2-1 after the first period, Stars succumbed to the hosts, who kept their 100 per cent record.
Kamil Kinkor scored for Redskins after three minutes, but Stars equalised through Darren Elliott, as the home side’s Jack Tarczycki picked up a penalty.
Streatham regained the lead through Dominic Hopkins, while there was a penalty on Stars’ Dax Hedges.
The second period started badly for Oxford, who conceded goals to Adam Wood and Evander Grinnell to trail 4-1.
Chris Wiggins extended Streatham’s lead, before Joe Edwards responded for Stars.
The game got physical as Joe Johnston and Stars’ Jason Ikin tangled.
Streatham’s Adam Wood joined in, and all three were sent to the penalty box.
With less than 30 seconds left in the period, Steve Fisher dispatched a penalty to make it 6-2.
In the final period, Streatham scored four goals in as many minutes through Tarczycki, Liam Rasmussen, Kinkor and Joe Allen.
Stars managed a late goal from Mike Whillock.
