MINSTER Lovell’s Martyn Cross won the outstanding contribution award at the 2014 ECB Coach Awards.

Cross was honoured for his services to cricket in both Oxfordshire and the south of England.

He is also one of three people nominated for the national award, with the winner announced at the ECB Coaches conference dinner next year.

He received his award from ex-England batsman Mark Ramprakash during the England v India Test match at the Oval.
