RESIDENTS in Berinsfield near Wallingford will be asked for their views on how thousands of new homes could be built in the village.
South Oxfordshire District Council members have backed a new survey to take place next year to decide whether local people want to see 1,700 to 1,999 new homes, or 2,000 to 2,100 new homes.
The option of 1,700 to 1,999 new homes could result in a range of new facilities including a new primary school.
Council leader John Cotton said: “We will ask for views on which option would be best.”
