The Carfax by-election for a seat on the city council took place yesterday.

The seat has been vacated by former Labour city councillor Anne Marie Canning, who resigned to focus on her career.

It is being contested by candidates from Labour, the Greens, the Lib Dems, the Conservatives and UKIP.
