A driver putting on make-up close to Abingdon police station was among drivers stopped and fined for motoring crimes on Thursday morning.
Police fined 10 drivers £100 for not wearing seatbelts and five motorists got three points and a £100 fine for using mobile phones during the Marcham Road check between 8.25am and 9.45am.
Another driver, who had not renewed his licence when he turned 70, had his car seized.
