A boy escaped with cuts and bruises after he was hit by a car in Headington.
The accident, which involved a silver Renault Clio happened in The Roundway, by the Green Road roundabout, Headington, at about 6.30pm on Wednesday.
The child was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with non life-threatening injuries, and was reportedly kept in overnight for observation.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call police on 101.
