SITTING out early in my garden these beautiful mornings, I can hear the Birmingham to Marylebone trains thundering past and it made me wonder why anyone would want to go faster than that, bearing in mind the HS2. Surely if you order a full English breakfast on the Birmingham to Marylebone train now, you would not have time for the toast and marmalade.

FIRSTLY I must say how pleased I am with Oxford City Council Planning Department for listening to my objections regarding neighbouring developments. Thanks to their efficiency one proposal was amended.
