A 53-year-old woman died after drinking alcohol all day at her New Year’s Eve party, an inquest heard.
Unemployed Elizabeth Farrow was found by friend George Geoghegan at her home in Ruscote Arcade early on January 1.
Toxicology reports showed she had drunk “significant quantities of alcohol” and died from acute alcohol intoxication.
Oxfordshire assistant coroner Nicholas Graham said Miss Farrow, who had been diagnosed with hepatitis C, had a history of alcohol dependency.
