CHOLSEY Primary School pupils hit all the right notes in a 24-hour-long music marathon.
The music maestros held lessons and concerts to fundraise for new instruments for the school. Pupils at the Church Road school began at 2pm on Thursday and finished at 2pm the next day.
They came and went throughout the 24-hours to play and have lessons, including a 3am lesson for Tilly Bates, 10, of Long Wittenham.
She said: “I have been playing the baritone horn for nearly a year. I just love playing the really low notes.”
Flautist Christopher Sims, 11, said: “I’m excited to take part.”
