PUPILS at Didcot Girls School remembered former classmate Jayden Parkinson yesterday by dressing in her favourite colour.
They spent the day wearing purple in memory of Jayden, 17, inset, who went missing in December last year and was later found dead in a Didcot cemetery.
Gracie Richmond, 13, said: “Money raised will go to Jayden’s family, who are setting up a charity to raise awareness about domestic violence.”
Molly Strange, 13, front right, said: “This also fits with recent year assemblies to promote International Women’s Day.”
Two men have been charged in connection with Jayden’s death
