A woman suffered serious injuries yesterday after falling from a third-floor window at Oxford Brookes University student accommodation.
The incident happened shortly after 10am in an accommodation block off John Garne Way off Marston Road.
Thames Valley Police spokeswoman Lucy Billen said South Central Ambulance alerted officers to the incident.
She said: “We received a report that a woman had fallen from a third-floor window at student accommodation at Clive Booth Hall.
“She was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with very serious injuries. The injuries were desribed as life-threatening and then as potentially life-changing.”
Oxford Brookes University spokesman Matthew Butler said: “The woman was not a student at Oxford Brookes and was not a member of staff.”
