DAVID HEARN, 60, of Cardigan Street, Oxford, pleaded guilty to one count of theft by finding after taking a doorbell to the value of £180 on January 6 last year. He was fined £54 and ordered to pay £180 in compensation. There were court costs of £85.

GRAHAM DENTON, 39, of Luther Street, Oxford, pleaded guilty to stealing £1,945.86 of electrical items from Boots in Oxford on March 15 this year as well as stealing £96 of baby formula from the same store on March 26. He was given a community order to complete nine months of drug rehabilitation treatment with Turning Point and 10 days of rehabilitation activity. He was also ordered to pay £96 in compensation. There were no other orders for costs.

EDWARD POTTER, 41, of Abingdon Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to two counts of drug driving in Oxford on November 14 last year. He was disqualified from driving for 15 months and fined £60. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £48.

SIMON MEADOWS, 43, of Parsley Place, Banbury, pleaded guilty to one count of assault by beating on June 17 last year. He was given a period of conditional discharge for six months. There were court costs of £85.

MARK PHELPS, 50, of Saunders Road, Oxford, pleaded guilty to breaching a serious violence reduction order made at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on January 31 this year by failing to sign a form within three days of being released from prison on April 19 this year. He was fined £120. There were court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £48.

GARY SWEENEY, 30, of Oakview Park, Bicester, pleaded guilty to drink driving in Bicester on December 6 last year with 43 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months, reduced by 12 weeks, and fined £160. There were court costs of £200 and a victim surcharge of £64.

ALAN WOOD, 68, of Gossway Fields, Kidlington, pleaded guilty to being in charge of a vehicle while over the drink driving limit in Chesterton on January 4 this year with 104 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. He was fined £188 and had 10 penalty points added to his driving record. There was a victim surcharge of £75.
